Peace Dividend Trust (PDT) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to making peace and humanitarian operations more effective, efficient and equitable, resulting in cheaper, faster and more successful missions.
In Timor-Leste, PDT supports long-term economic recovery by increasing purchasing of goods and services available in country. When the international community buys and hires locally, a substantive part of their operational spending directly enters the local economy and supports private sector development and entrepreneurship.
The mission of Peace Dividend Trust Timor-Leste (PDT-TL) is to:
- Support the post-conflict economic recovery
- Help the Timorese business community improve and grow, so as to bid competitively for international contracts and facilitate the entry of foreign investment
- Improve the overall effectiveness of UN-mandated peace operations and the achievement of their strategic goals
In order to accomplish these goals, PDT-TL provides the following services:

- Matchmaking
- Tender Distribution Point
- Capacity Development
All of PDT's services are offered free of charge.
